We are thrilled to announce our inaugural charity event - the Drop Shot for a Difference, a charity pickleball tournament, dinner and party to benefit the Red Door Family Shelter. This organization supports women and children affected by domestic abuse, families experiencing a housing crisis, and refugee claimants with nowhere else to turn.
The spirit of our event is to bring together friends and family for a good cause and to have a great time.
All are invited and welcome to join us. For those not interested in playing, or perhaps nursing all the PB injuries, please feel free to join us for a fantastic evening of dinner and dancing. The night will feature amazing tunes spun by DJShamz.

Red Door Family Shelter assists Families, Refugees and Women Who Are Fleeing Violence. Since 1982, the Red Door Family Shelter has provided emergency shelter and support for women and children affected by domestic abuse, families experiencing a housing crisis, and refugee claimants with nowhere else to turn. In the early 80's there was only one other shelter operating in Toronto. Responding to the growing need for shelter space for homeless families, the Red Door was opened in the basement of the WoodGreen United Church by a group of volunteers. We have now grown to be one of the largest family shelters in the city, providing shelter and support to over 350 families every year.

What
A 1 hour leveled round robin tournament, followed by dinner and dancing. The evening will also feature a 50/50 draw and silent auction benefiting the Red Door Shelter.
New to pickleball? No problem! Sign up for a lighthearted and fun introductory clinic with coach Jacquie Harris.

$100 per ticket. Price includes 1 hour round robin tournament, dinner, dancing!

Meet the founders
It All Started With
a Love for Pickleball
Eva & Jade: Friends from First Dink
This is where it all started! We met playing pickleball and it was friendship at first sight! We clicked immediately on and off the court, with our shared love for sport and community.
We founded Drop Shot for a Cause, to bring together our friends and family to raise money annually for a great cause. This year we are supporting the Red Door Shelter, an organization that is important to us both.
